Are you nervous, Buckeye fans? You've enjoyed seven years of football dominance under Urban Meyer. The Buckeyes won a few Conference Championships, the first ever College Football Playoff National Championship, and only suffered nine total losses in that span; none of which to that Team Up North. Sure there were some scandals toward the end, but you always knew that Urban was one of the best coaches of all time, and with that comes blue chip recruits and the national spotlight.
Now the Urban Meyer era at Ohio State is over.
Former Offensive Coordinator, Ryan Day, took over the program after Meyer stepped down at the end of last season. Day is considered an offensive genius, and went undefeated at the beginning of last season when he served as interim Head Coach during Meyer's suspension. As great as he did last season, Saturday will truly begin a new era in Columbus. Although we can almost guarantee a victory over Florida Atlantic, we have much bigger questions for the program Day has created as we progress into Conference play.
Jeremy Birmingham of Lettermen Row joined Anthony Bellino of the Fox Sports Morning Blitz to answer all the questions that are plaguing the Buckeyes as they enter week 1. Give it a listen.
