The Ohio State Buckeyes won't be having any problems at quarterback this season as long as Justin Fields stays healthy. Fields lit Florida Atlantic's defense up in the first quarter, throwing for 3 touchdowns and rushing for another. The Buckeyes jumped out to a quick 28-0 lead. With the Scarlet and Grey up by 4 scores early on, it seemed as if Ryan Day pulled back on the reigns a bit, coasting to a 45-21 victory.
The first quarter was spectacular, while the rest of the game was a snooze fest. We saw the brilliant play making ability this offense has, and not much else. The Florida Atlantic game went pretty much as expected, but week 2 will offer different challenges with Cincinnati coming to town. To break down week 1 and preview the match-up against the Bearcats, Jeremy Birmingham joined the Fox Sports Morning Blitz this morning.
