A Lion Let Down

The Lions looked amazing in week 1 against the Arizona Cardinals. Matthew Stafford was slinging the ball around, rookie first rd. Tight-End, TJ Hockenson was as lethal as advertised, and Kyler Murray couldn't get into a rhythm against the new and improved Lions defense. That is of course, until the second half. Murray and rookie Head Coach Cliff Kingsbury got the offense into an uptempo rhythm and started to move the ball down the field with ease against a tired defense. A controversial time-out (because the Lions always find a quirky way to blow a game) and conservative play calling, led to Detroit squandering an 18 pt 4th quarter lead. The Lions and Cardinals ended in a tie, and many are crying "Same Old Lions".
