I hate blaming a loss on the officials. But we haven't seen a game as egregious as this (even though there are some close ones) since the Saints/Rams game in the playoffs last year.
The hands to the face call on Trey Flowers to eliminate a 3rd and long sack, was was sickening. For him to get called on the same thing, later on in the game, was inexcusable.
The Lions could have played better, settling for field goals instead of punching it in for 6 on many occasions. And Aaron Rodgers overcame adversity with many of his receiving threats riddled with injuries.
In the end, it came down to two monumental flags, sealing the fate of the game.
