NOT YOUR TYPICAL SPAGHETTI DINNER
Spay-ghetti & No Balls Dinner & Silent Auction helps homeless cats and dogs
TOLEDO, OH, February 21, 2018– If you like good food, good fun and a good cause, get your appetite ready! On Sunday, March 25th, Humane Ohio will host their sixth Spay-ghetti & No Balls Dinner & Silent Auction. The event will take place at The Hilton Garden Inn in Perrysburg (6165 Levis Commons Blvd) from 5 pm to 8 pm.
Guests will be able to enjoy a delicious buffet of butternut squash ravioli, grilled vegetable primavera, salad, breadsticks, dessert, and cash bar. The cost is $35 and tickets must be purchased in advance online at www.humaneohio.org/spayghetti or by mailing a check to Humane Ohio with the full names of each attendee. All tickets must be purchased by March 16th.
The event will include a silent auction with items like Disney tickets, cake decorating classes, a Huffy Surfside bicycle, date night baskets, lots of pet baskets, and much more. There is something for everyone! Guests will also enjoy games, a wine pull, and a photobooth with mementos to remember this fun night.
Humane Ohio’s Outreach Coordinator, Kaylie Spotts, says “This fundraiser helps us keep our prices low for the community so we can ensure every pet parent is able to get their pet fixed, regardless of financial status! The last event raised $37,000 and as we reach farther into the community to help more animals this year, we hope this event is even bigger and better!”

Humane Ohio operates a non-profit, low cost spay/neuter clinic and pet food bank that fixed over 16,400 animals and gave out more than 59,000lbs of pet food in 2017. Their spay/neuter clinic serves Ohio and Michigan and can offer low-cost spay/neuter prices because donations and grants help keep the cost low while maintaining high quality veterinary care. All spay/neuter surgeries are performed by licensed veterinarians (DVMs) and every patient receives quality pain medication and anesthesia.
