This event was created as a remembrance to the love, legacy and light of the beautiful spirit that embodied Reagan Tokes. She tragically lost her life in a horrific chain of events the night of February 8, 2017. Rather than get lost in the evil and darkness, which ultimately took Reagan from this life, her family chose to hold onto the light and create a lasting legacy to honor her kind, caring, vibrant energy. Reagan was a senior at the Ohio State University, 3 months shy of graduating with a degree in psychology and 33 days shy of celebrating her 22nd birthday. Reagan graduated from Anthony Wayne High School and was laid to rest at Fort Meigs Cemetery in Perrysburg. Reagan's mother, Lisa McCrary-Tokes, will speak to us on overcoming tragedy and loss by trying to make a difference in this world and the need for educational self-awareness and self-defense programs to help protect women. Tonya Rider, is a retired police detective and currently serves as a Forensic Instructor at BGSU, and is on the hit show Cold Justice, will also speak and give her professional advice on how to help protect women as well. This event promises to be an educational, inspiring and emotional evening. All ticket proceeds benefit the Reagan Delaney Tokes Foundation, a 501 (c)(3) nonprofit organization, which awards scholarships to students like Reagan, to support them in their dream of completing their college education. In addition, local businesses are generously donating amazing items for Raffle baskets which you will be able to purchase tickets for. Desserts donated by McKiddy Cakes, Ltd. Please mark your calendars and join us as we remember Reagan Tokes.
