The Maumee Summer Fair celebrates it’s 42nd year on August 9th and 10th. It’s an event you do not want
to miss.
The Maumee Summer Fair has prided itself on creating a great time for everyone over the last 41 years,
and this year will be no different. It only gets better and better. Brought to you by the Maumee Uptown
Business Association, as well as many volunteers, the fair will take place in Uptown Maumee on Dudley
and Wayne Street.
Don’t worry about your dinner plans on Friday night, as you can come uptown and relax at the Taste of
Maumee. Featuring 13 Maumee restaurants, the public can enjoy a variety of cuisine from pizza,
Mexican food, ice cream, and new this year Rayoka Japanese Steakhouse & Sushi. Friday night will also
feature our kid fun zone with plenty of games and inflatables for the young at heart, while the 21 and
over crowd will enjoy the music of Down River Dan from 5pm-8pm and Kentucky Chrome from 8:30pm
to Midnight. There will be plenty of adult beverages available in the lot party.
On Saturday August 10th, head to Conant Street for the Summer Fair Parade, which starts at 9am. After
the parade, be sure to walk around and check out over 130 Artists, Crafters and Commercial booths
lining the streets. The vendors will be open from 9am to 5pm for your shopping pleasure. Other
activities to add to your day with us are a Classic Car Show, The Right Direction Bike Demo Team
performances, a kid fun zone with inflatables, a ROMICK RAILWAY train ride from 10am to 5pm, and
craft beer tasting from Noon to 5pm. Just like Friday night, the Taste of Maumee will be open from Noon
to 11pm to provide all the food you could want. Be sure to sit down and listen to the Maumee Palooza
Stage of original music as you take in the sights.
The fun continues throughout the evening and night. As the day goes by the Summer Fair Lot Party will
transition to a 21 and over crowd inside the fenced beer area. The Chris Shutters Band will take the
stage at 5pm, with one of our favorite bands, the Reaganomics, closing out the night from 8:30pm to
Midnight. For those under 21, there is plenty of area outside the beer garden to hang out and enjoy the
music.
