The festival is called "I Love Olander Day" and it is scheduled to take place in one month at Olander Park in Sylvania, Ohio. The official date is Sunday, September 22 from Noon to 5pm at Olander Park. The theme is "Celebrate Lake Olander and the Sylvania community". Last year, I Love Olander Day drew 3,000+ visitors. This year's event has been expanded with visitors invited to enjoy activities along the new multipurpose path looping Lake Olander including live music, food trucks, a special performance by the Bubble Sharks, a carnival and petting zoo, and so much more. Visitors will also be invited to experience fun on Lake Olander with free boat rentals and stand up paddleboard mini-lessons. Admission and parking are free. The event is rain or shine.
