Just when you thought this season couldn't get any more challenging for the Detroit Red Wings, the entire league was suspended.
For championship contending teams, this is a momentum killer and could turn the tide of the season *if* the season were to resume play and start the playoffs in the future.
But one could argue that this is worse for teams that weren't in playoff contention. Younger teams like the Red Wings need all the experience they can get in order to build skill and chemistry. This suspension is delaying the re-build process and development of young stars like Dylan Larkin and Tyler Bertuzzi among others.
What can you do to get better right now?
Luckily, we have the Head Coach of the Detroit Red Wings, Jeff Blashill, to answer all of our questions during this quarantine. Listen to Jeff talk about spending time with family, as well as the work he's doing off the ice right now to prepare this generation of hockey players.
